     The old man next door is elderly and suffers from a mental illness, so his judgment is often clouded.

   • 할아버지가 돌아가신 것은 너무 어렸을 때의 일이라 기억이 흐리다.

     My grandfather died when I was very young, so my memory of it is dim.

   A pure substance becoming unclear because it has had a foreign matter added to it.

   Korean definition: 순수한 것에 다른 것이 섞여 깨끗하지 않다.

   • 자동차와 공장이 많은 도시의 공기는 시골보다 흐렸다.

     The air in cities with many cars and factories was murkier than in the countryside.
