1. 1

   we

   A pronoun used when the speaker refers to himself/herself and the listener or listeners, or a group of people including the speaker and listener or listeners.

   Korean definition: 말하는 사람이 자기와 듣는 사람 또는 이를 포함한 여러 사람들을 가리키는 말.

   • 얘들아, 올여름에는 우리 다 함께 여행 가자.

     Guys, let's all go on a trip together this summer.

   • 우리 둘이 해야 할 일이 뭐지?

     What is it that the two of us have to do?

     나는 바닥 청소, 너는 주변 정리.

     I'll clean the floor, you tidy up around.

   we

   A pronoun used when the speaker refers to several people including himself/herself while speaking to a person senior to himself/herself.

   Korean definition: 말하는 사람이 자기보다 높지 않은 사람에게 자기를 포함한 여러 사람들을 가리키는 말.

   • 이 문제는 우리만의 문제니까 너희들은 빠져 있어.

     This is a problem just for us, so you guys stay out of it.

   • 이번 대회에서 우리 팀은 상대 팀에게 크게 패배했다.

     In this tournament, our team was badly defeated by the opposing team.

   we: A pronoun used when the speaker intimately refers to something related to him/her while speaking to the person junior to himself/herself.

   Korean definition: 말하는 사람이 자기보다 높지 않은 사람에게 자기와 관련된 것을 친근하게 나타낼 때 쓰는 말.

   • 우리 엄마만큼 나를 이해해 주는 사람은 세상에 없다.

     There is no one in the world who understands me as well as my mom.

   • 우리 집은 부유하지는 않지만 늘 화목하고 밝은 분위기이다.

     Our family isn't rich, but the atmosphere is always harmonious and cheerful.
