   Korean definition: 앞의 내용과 뒤의 내용이 서로 반대될 때 쓰는 말.

   • 승규는 술을 몹시 좋아한다. 그러나 잘 마시지는 못한다.

     Seunggyu really likes alcohol. However, he can't drink much.

   • 강 선생님은 엄격하게, 그러나 사랑으로 학생들을 대한다.

     Mr. Kang treats his students strictly, but with love.
