   Stir-fried glass noodles and vegetables: a Korean dish made by mixing sweet potato noodles with thin slices of stir-fried various vegetables, meat, etc.

   Korean definition: 여러 가지 채소와 고기 등을 가늘게 썰어 기름에 볶은 것을 당면과 섞어 만든 음식.

   • 잡채를 오랫동안 놔두었더니 당면이 불어서 도저히 먹을 수가 없었다.

     I left the japchae out too long, so the glass noodles swelled up and it was impossible to eat.

   • 엄마는 고기를 좋아하는 나를 위해 고기를 잔뜩 넣은 잡채를 만들어 주셨다.

     Mom made japchae with lots of meat for me because I like meat.
