   A game where one figures out the name of a certain object or its meaning when someone else describes it without naming it.

   Korean definition: 어떤 사물에 대하여 다른 사물을 빗대어서 말하여 그 뜻이나 이름을 알아맞히는 놀이.

   • 선생님은 학생들의 흥미를 돋우려고 수학 문제를 수수께끼로 내셨다.

     The teacher posed math problems as riddles to spark the students' interest.

   • 나는 아버지께서 내 주신 수수께끼의 정답을 몰라서 일주일 내내 끙끙댔다.

   A state in which a certain object or phenomenon is too complicated and puzzling to understand fully.

   Korean definition: 어떤 사물이나 현상이 복잡하고 이상하게 얽혀서 그 속사정을 쉽게 알 수 없는 것.

   • 단서가 전혀 없는 수수께끼의 살인 사건이 발생했다.

     A mysterious murder with no clues at all has occurred.

   • 정체를 알 수 없는 수수께끼의 바이러스에 감염된 사람들이 늘고 있다.

     The number of people infected with a mysterious virus of unknown identity is increasing.
