     Last December it snowed a lot, so snow remained piled up until the beginning of the year.

   • 우리는 한 해가 다 지나가는 십이월 말에 고등학교 동창회를 하기로 했다.

     We decided to hold our high school reunion at the end of December, when the year is coming to a close.
