   A foamy alcoholic beverage made by adding water, bitter taste, and yeast to, most commonly, malted barley.

   Korean definition: 주로 발효시킨 보리에 물과 쓴 맛과 탄산을 더하여 만든 거품이 나는 술.

   • 잔에 따른 지 오래된 맥주는 김이 빠져서 맛이 없다.

     Beer that has been sitting in a glass for a long time goes flat and doesn't taste good.

   • 나는 술을 잘 못 마셔서 독한 소주보다는 순한 맥주가 좋다.

     I'm not a good drinker, so I prefer mild beer to strong soju.
