   Korean definition: (비유적으로) 아주 괴롭고 절망적인 상황.

   • 사람이 가득 찬 출퇴근 시간대의 지하철은 지옥과 다를 바가 없다.

     The subway during rush hour, packed with people, is no different from hell.
