   A road that is made through a mountain or under a sea, river, etc., so that trains or cars can pass through.

   Korean definition: 산, 바다, 강 등의 밑을 뚫어서 기차나 자동차가 지나다닐 수 있게 만든 통로.

   • 기차가 터널을 빠져나오자 눈부신 빛이 쏟아졌다.

     As the train came out of the tunnel, dazzling light poured in.
