     When the laundry scattered in each room was all gathered, there was so much.

   be obtained; be procured

   For a special object to be obtained and equipped.

   Korean definition: 특별한 물건이 구해져 갖추어지다.

   • 이번 대회를 통해 전국에서 뛰어난 작품들이 모이게 되었다.

     Through this contest, outstanding works from all over the country were gathered.

   • 우표 수집이 취미인 형은 새로운 우표가 모일 때마다 기뻐했다.

     My older brother, whose hobby is stamp collecting, was happy every time he got a new stamp.

   For money, valuables, etc., to be stacked without being used.

   Korean definition: 돈이나 재물 등이 쓰이지 않고 쌓이다.

   • 김 사장은 돈이 모이자 바로 새 사업을 시작했다.

     As soon as President Kim had saved up enough money, he started a new business.

   • 사람들의 무관심으로 기부금이 조금밖에 모이지 않았다.

     Because of people's indifference, only a little donation money was collected.

   For a mind, opinion, etc., to focus on one area.

   Korean definition: 정신, 의견 등이 한곳에 집중되다.

   • 이번 봉사활동은 여러 사람들의 뜻이 모여서 시작되었다.

     This volunteer work began as the intentions of many people came together.

   • 사람들의 의견이 하나로 모이지 않아서 회의가 길어졌다.

     People's opinions didn't come together as one, so the meeting dragged on.
