Pronoun

1. 1

   (polite form) A pronoun used to indicate the listener.

   Korean definition: (높이는 말로) 듣는 사람을 가리키는 말.

   • 오늘 이 문제는 그대가 책임을 지고 해결해 줘야 하겠소.

     As for today's problem, you shall take responsibility and solve it.

   • 그대를 만나려고 여기까지 왔는데 차라도 한잔 주시구려.

     I came all the way here to see you, so at least offer me a cup of tea.

   (affectionate) A pronoun used to indicate the other person in a written document.

   Korean definition: (친근하게 이르는 말로) 글에서 상대방을 가리키는 말.

   • 그대가 내 마음을 몰라주시니 저는 그저 눈물만 흘릴 뿐입니다.

     Since you do not understand my heart, all I can do is shed tears.

   • 오늘 학교에서 그대를 보고 저는 첫눈에 그대에게 반했습니다.

     When I saw you at school today, I fell for you at first sight.
